A MESSAGE FROM COLLEEN FLAMM:

I can’t believe it’s time to sign up for the 2nd annual CJB Golf Classic! 
To those of you who were with us last year it was a year of many firsts. The fact that we were able, in the deep throws of our grief and loss, to pull together an outstanding tournament in honor of our beloved Barry Flamm still blows my mind. It is a testament to what Barry meant to us all. With that said, A few words come to mind……My family and I were deeply moved by last year’s tournament. My heart was bursting with pure joy at what we managed to pull off in four short months. We poured our blood, sweat and tears into making this tournament happen. We knew that people would come to play for Barry but we did not realize the depth of that love, commitment and level of fun you all brought to this celebration! I can’t say thank you enough for everyone’s help, participation and enthusiasm! My joy last year was watching all of you who participated laughing and having such a great time! My cup runneth over! We know that pulling off such a grand event comes with lumps and bumps, but I feel the team we have in place was able to manage and handle what ever came up and keep a smooth running event for everyone to enjoy. We managed to all have a great time, find laughter and raise a ton of money for a rescue near and dear to my heart as well as Barry’s! We were able to present a check to Healing Hearts for $10,000!!!!!! I have never been so proud of all involved in this first ever charity golf event in honor of my husband. Last year we had the most perfect day! Yes it was hot! We are working hard to ensure we do not have drink cart issues this year so no one is left parched! We are also working hard to make the 2nd annual CJB Classic even bigger and better than last year……My family and I are hoping for another sell out! We want to raise the money….big money to help out not only Healing Hearts but adding to this years donation I have included MADD. I feel it is important to include an organization that does a lot of good for families who have tragically lost a loved one due to the poor choices of a driver who is under the influence of drugs and alcohol. My family knows this loss, lives this loss and would give anything to undo this loss if it was humanly possible. With that said I invite you to sign up your foursomes, bring your wallet, bring your generous heart and let’s party it up on September 28th at Ridges of Sand Creek! We are going to start earlier this year, have music, whiskey tasting, raffle prizes and a few silent auction items, games on the golf course and prizes for the winners! There will also be a last place surprise…..so who cares if you stink at golf come play anyway as you could still win! The best news is there will be MORE PUPPIES!!!!!!!!!! So now is the time to hit that sign up button and let’s get ready for another stellar event and raise a lot of money for two really amazing organizations!
